The International Trade Promotion Regional Office in Chaing Mai acts as marketing arm to promote Thai Northern Products and Services to the world market by providing a one-stop service on Thai export promotion with our worldwide network of more than 100 permanent and advisory offices, together with vast and comprehensive range of overseas market development activities namely International Trade Fairs both organized in Thailand and oversea; In-coming and Out-going Trade Missions; Business Matching Services; as well as activities to enhance Thai exporters’ competitiveness through design and branding assistance.
Services include :
• Information and Advisory Services : to provide information and advice on international market, list of potential enterprises both in overseas and Thailand, suitable marketing activities and market access strategies enabling Thai exporters to competently contend in the world market arena.
• Business matching service : to connect you with the potential overseas importers or Thai exporters, or even with the franchise, joint venture, and investment opportunities in the counterpart countries.
• Incubation of SMEs Exporters or to become exporters through various activities eg serminars, workshops, and special programmes specifically designed to tailor-made to the enterprenuers’ requirements.
• Market Development & Expansion Activities : to plan, coordinate and organize wide-ranging events and activities such as product showcases and trade shows, trade missions, factory visits, promotion of Thai product images. In addition, they encourage the Thai exporters to acknowledge the significance of design, innovation and product development through several campaigns i.e. Thailand Trust Mark (TTM), DEMark (Design Excellence Award), Thai Select, Prime Minister’s Export Award.
